Aaron has been quite busy in the past few months working with singer- songwriters in the DFW area. Currently he working with Harvey Barham of Gentleman Losers on a solo project to be released late fall. Here is a sample called 3 am in Duncanville. In addition, local artist Dan Glaser tapped Aaron to produce, engineer and play all the instruments (except drums by the inimitable Sean McCurley, and a piano contribution by Dane Petersen) on his solo record, which is in the final stages. Listen to Important Reasons.

Aaron has also been producing/writing with local artist Dave Wilson, and completed two songs called Don't Change Your Mind (co-written with Scott Krippayne who wrote the finale song for--and won the contest on--American Idol this last season; David DeShazo of Stereo Rookie singing lead) and With You (co-written with Bob Cooper--vocals by Les Farrington from Sugarbomb). Meredith Mauldin, a Dallas, TX based singer, songwriter, model, actress, and all around nice person is about to start mixing her debut CD that was co-written, produced, arranged and engineered by Aaron over the last year. Here is the title track Release The Angels. The entire album should be on sale in the fall.

Aaron recently finished the Highland Park United Methodist Cornerstone CD for songwriter Dave Wilson. It was mastered by Richard Dodd in Nashville. Hilary Roberts' CD "Happy So Bad" has been completed; currently she is taking e-mail orders; link to her site to do so. Shawn Council's debut record "The Hard Way" hit stores on August 14th. The relase was produced by Aaron and was mixed at Rosewood Studios by Greg Hunt. Mosey (a folky Texas-Americana duo) has released their self-titled debut CD, which is available at CDBaby.com. Stereo Rookie's brand new self-titled release is available on iTunes, where you can also find their debut album, "Something For Everybody." Check out their dedicated page for more information.

Along with his involvement in engineering, producing and songwriting, Aaron worked with Jon Christopher Davis on a Texas Music show entitled "Lone Star Attitude." Jon Christopher put together a stellar band to play in February 2007 at the Glass Cactus, a nightclub located at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine. The night featured music from a wide range of Texas artists from Ernest Tubb to Los Lonely Boys and was capped by JCD's original song the show was based around. Following that show, JCD returned with his regular band to perform more original music along with some covers. A live recording and DVD are in the works.
